Patience is always needed when traveling....

Upon arrival in Cancun, it was a breeze to clear customs and get to the luggage carousels... We were very excited to see the luggage start rolling after only being there for about 30 minutes. Our excitement quickly came to an halt when the luggage carousel stopped and we only had one suitcase and still needed 2 more!!

We waited and waited and waited, then after an hour and a half, it started up again and we were very happy to see our 2 other suitcases!!!

Thankfully our private transfer Canada Transfers, was still waiting for us once we got outside! They quickly got us to our resort in a nice, cool and comfortable vehicle without any stops along the way!!!

Highly recommend booking a private transfer on any holiday!!

As a Travel Consultant on vacation, you're always wondering what hotel is next door, which one is that in the distance or I remember that one and had clients stay there.

So this time I snuck off to Breathless Cancun Soul Resort & Spa next door to the MELIÁ Casa Maya Maya for a little site inspection.

This resort is only a ~20-minute ride from the Cancun International Airport, so you can be in one of the many pools in less than an hour after landing. Which is always such a nice feature.

As soon as you walk in the lobby you can tell this resorts vibe is for the social traveller. Perfect for bachelor/bachelorette parties, groups of friends or a couple who likes to socialize.

The rooms are large and have the most amazing views!!

There are several options for dining and many do not need a reservation. Which is a great feature!

The beach is small and public, so expect some locals and vendors, but the water is calm and beautiful.

This resort has definitely been added to my list for an adults only holiday!

Packing cubes = “I like order in my life.”
Rolled clothes = “I’m here for chaos but make it efficient.”
Me? I’m somewhere in the middle, rolling clothes inside the cubes because I want it all.

Don’t Let Your Passport Ruin Your Trip! 🌍
