From the ancient wonders of Egypt to the southern tip of Africa—next stop: the fairest Cape and the stunning Winelands. After a dramatic, stormy drive along the rugged coastline (with a quick visit to the penguins at Stony Point), I arrived in the picturesque village of Franschhoek. Incredible food, world-class wine, and a leisurely stroll down the vibrant main street lined with restaurants, galleries, and boutique shops. Always a perfect spot to unwind—either before or after a safari adventure.

Next stop on our Egypt adventure: a luxurious cruise down the Nile!
We set sail from Aswan aboard the elegant Sun Boat IV, drifting through history and timeless landscapes.
Along the way, we explored the Temple of Kom Ombo, dedicated to the crocodile god Sobek and the falcon god Horus, complete with a fascinating Crocodile Museum housing 2,000-year-old mummified crocodiles!
The journey ended in spectacular fashion in Luxor, the crown jewel of ancient Egypt. From the awe-inspiring Temple of Luxor to the Valley of the Kings and the majestic Temple of Hatshepsut, every stop was a step deeper into history.

First few days in Egypt! Started things off with the iconic Pyramids of Giza, followed by the stunning new Grand Egyptian Museum, the statue of Ramses II greets you in style at the entrance. Wandered through the vibrant bazaars of Khan el-Khalili and relaxed at beautiful hotels along the Nile. And this is just the beginning… Luxor and the wonders along the Nile to come!

New safari hotspot! Brand new Mokete Camp on a private concession on the edge of vast plains of Mababe in Botswana. All the mega fauna, including large herds of elephants and prides of lions. Picnic lunches out in the bush, very comfy tents, and pool to cool off in.
