Last month, we journeyed through Peru with on an itinerary that perfectly balanced culture, adventure, cuisine, and iconic experiences.

We began in Lima, a city that continues to surprise with its world-renowned food scene, coastal energy, and vibrant neighbourhoods like Barranco () and Miraflores () where art-filled streets, ocean views, and some of South America’s best dining set the tone for what was to come.

From there, we headed into the Sacred Valley, once the agricultural and spiritual heart of the Inca Empire with time spent and . Surrounded by dramatic Andean peaks, ancient ruins, traditional villages, and colourful markets, it’s a place that feels both grounding and extraordinary.

Then came the moment every traveller dreams of: Machu Picchu. Reaching the citadel via the final stretch of the Inca Trail made that first glimpse even more unforgettable with belmondsanctuarylodge at the gates of this iconic wonder.

To end the journey, we boarded the iconic train to Cusco - an elegant step back in time with white-glove service, live music, and fine dining along the way.
