Not to rush you…but if you’re hoping to escape the Canadian winter, this is your sign to stop saying “we should book something” and actually book something 😂

The longer you wait, the fewer choices you’ll have especially if you need:

•Nonstop flights with good departure times
•A specific room category or multiple rooms
•One of the most popular family or adults-only resorts
•March Break, Christmas or another high-demand week

Waiting doesn’t usually get a better deal.

It usually means you’ll be choosing from whatever is left.

If a winter vacation has been sitting in the group chat, send me “WINTER” and let’s get it out of the chat and onto the calendar.

A beautiful pool photo can get your attention but it doesn’t tell you whether you’ll actually love the resort.

It won’t tell you if the beach is swimmable, the pool is impossible to get a chair at, the food matches your expectations or the resort has the atmosphere you’re looking for.

That’s why I don’t recommend the same “popular” resorts to everyone.

I look at how you actually like to vacation… your priorities, your deal-breakers and the little details that can make or break your week and then match you with the resort that fits.

Because the cheapest resort isn’t always the best value…and the prettiest one online isn’t always the right one for you.

Planning a winter all-inclusive vacation? Send me “WINTER” and let’s find your perfect resort match!

Consider this your sign to stop saying “we should book a trip” … and ACTIALLY book the trip! 😝

Because winter is a lot easier to survive when there’s an all-inclusive vacation waiting for you.

Send this to the person you’re bringing with you on vacation.

And if you’re even thinking about going away this winter, now is the time to start planning with me. I’ll help you skip the endless research and find the resort that’s actually right for you.

Planning an all-inclusive vacation to Mexico should be exciting!

But with hundreds of resorts to choose from, it can quickly start to feel overwhelming.

Beautiful beaches, waterparks, swim-up rooms, kids’ clubs, upgraded sections… after a while, every resort starts to look the same 👀

But the right resort for your family depends on so much more than which one has the prettiest photos or the highest rating.

That’s why we created our free Mexico Resort Guide—to help you understand your options, narrow down your search and feel more confident about where to book.

Comment “MEXICO” below and we’ll send the guide directly to you 🇲🇽

And if you’d rather skip the research altogether, we can help match your family with the right resort and manage your vacation from booking until you return home. 🤍

Comment “DREAMS” and we’ll tell you which resort is you.

DREAMS SAPPHIRE RESORT & SPA

Best for active families and larger groups. Highlights include one of the area’s largest freeform pools, three waterslides, extensive activities and excellent room options—including connecting suites and two-bedroom private-pool villas with three bathrooms and butler service. The beach is long and sandy, but the water can be dark and affected by seaweed. The original section has 14 three-storey buildings without elevators, making it less suitable for mobility concerns.

DREAMS AVENTURAS RIVIERA MAYA

Best for families wanting a smaller resort and opportunities to explore. This compact 305-room property has a protected cove and walkable access to Puerto Aventuras’ marina, shops and restaurants. Golf-cart rentals make exploring the gated community easy. The calm water suits younger children, but the beach is small and longer resort-only stays may feel repetitive.

DREAMS RIVIERA CANCUN

Best for weddings, groups and families wanting a compact resort near Cancún Airport. Expect excellent service, a splash park, arcade and guaranteed connecting family suites for up to seven guests. Frequent weddings may bring event noise, while the beach and dining receive mixed reviews. Best for those prioritizing service, convenience and atmosphere.

DREAMS PLAYA MUJERES

Best for beach lovers and larger families. It has the clearest water, widest white-sand beach and best overall beach experience of the five. Room options include two queens, large family suites and categories for five or more guests. Preferred Club includes lazy-river access, and guests 18+ can visit neighbouring Secrets Playa Mujeres.

DREAMS NATURA RESORT & SPA

Best for younger families prioritizing waterpark fun over ocean conditions. It features large waterslides, a raft slide, splash park, 607-foot lazy river, climbing wall and Rollglider aerial ride. Its U-shaped design lets parents see many family amenities from the pool. However, the ocean is typically dark or murky, and frequent weddings can create noise throughout the compact resort.

Looking for a family resort in Mexico with heated pools this winter? ☀️

Mexico may be warm throughout the winter, but that doesn’t mean every resort pool will feel warm—especially during cooler mornings, cloudy days or cold fronts.

If your children plan to spend most of their vacation in the pool, choosing a resort with a heated pool option can make a major difference.

Here are five family-friendly resorts in Mexico to consider:

GRAND FIESTA AMERICANA CORAL BEACH
Located in Cancún’s Hotel Zone, the resort’s main pool is heated to approximately 28–30°C from November through March. This is a particularly good option for families who also want a beautiful beach and easy access to Cancún.

GRAND PALLADIUM SELECT COSTA MUJERES
All pools are heated year-round to approximately 26–28°C. This makes it one of the strongest options for families who don’t want to be limited to one designated heated pool.

HILTON TULUM RIVIERA MAYA
Pools 1 and 2 are heated during the winter from November through February. Because this is a large resort with several pool areas, families should be aware that not every pool is heated.

MOON PALACE THE GRAND
The pool located in front of El Caribeño is maintained at a comfortable temperature throughout the year. The Grand is especially well suited to active families who want an extensive waterpark, activities and plenty of dining options.

PLANET HOLLYWOOD CANCUN
The Star Class Pool is heated, making the Star Class upgrade worth considering for families travelling during the cooler winter months. The resort also has a lazy river, kids’ splash areas and plenty of entertainment.

Important: Pool temperatures and heating schedules can change based on the weather, resort operations and maintenance.

We always recommend confirming the current details before booking.

Because “the resort has heated pools” doesn’t always mean every pool is heated 👀

With 200+ all-inclusive resorts in Mexico, the hardest part usually isn’t finding options…

It’s figuring out which ones are actually worth your money—and which one fits the way you want to vacation.

I don’t recommend resorts just because they’re popular, new or look beautiful online. I look at the things that shape the entire trip: the food, beach, rooms, service, atmosphere, family amenities and the little details that rarely make it into the polished resort photos.

So I put together a guide featuring the Mexico resorts I feel confident recommending to my clients again and again 🇲🇽🌴

Comment MEXICO and I’ll send the free guide directly to your DMs 🤍

The cheapest resort isn’t automatically a bad resort.

But the cheapest deal can become very expensive when you spend your entire vacation disappointed by the food, frustrated with the room, bored at the resort or wishing you had paid a little more for the beach you actually wanted.

A good price only matters when the resort also fits the way you want to vacation.

Before recommending anything, we look at the details that can completely change your experience:

The beach.
The food.
The room setup.
The resort atmosphere.
Your kids’ ages.
The flight times.

And what you actually want your days to feel like.

Sometimes the least expensive option really is the right choice.

But it should be chosen because it fits you—not simply because it appeared at the top when you sorted the results from lowest to highest 👀

Could you find the right resort on your own?

Absolutely.

This is the part we do every day.

We get to know how you actually want to vacation, narrow down the resorts that best fit your priorities and help you book with confidence—at no added cost when you book your trip through us ✈️

So yes, you could keep all 27 tabs open…

or you could let us do the resort matching for you 🤍

The all-inclusive category has a wide range and the website will not tell you which side of the spectrum you’re looking at. Every property has the same drone footage of an infinity pool, the same softly lit dinner photos, and the same language about “unparalleled luxury” regardless of whether that is actually true. What they don’t tell you is whether the beach is swimmable, whether the restaurants require a reservation you’ll never actually get, or whether the property peaked in 2018 and hasn’t kept up since.

That gap between what a resort looks like online and what it actually delivers is my expertise.

Your vacation dollars deserve better than a gamble.
