Welcome to the Official CDM Dance page! Whether you're after recreational or competitive dance, CDM Dance has what you're looking for; quality training in a positive and supportive environment. CDM dancers are known for their strong technique combined with artistic expression and musicality. Strong ballet technique is the backbone of the training. Other styles of dance taught by knowledgeable and caring staff include: Contemporary, Jazz, Tap, Lyrical, Musical Theatre, Acro and Hip Hop.

Introducing 2025 Grad: SARAH 🎓💙
(ft: grad Allison)

“I started dancing at CDM when I was around five years old, and I had no idea then just how much it would come to mean to me. Over the years, the studio has become so much more than just a place to take classes and to learn, it’s become a second home. It’s where I’ve grown up, discovered my passion, and found a supportive community that’s always encouraged me to be my best and push my limits. Dance has taught me the value of discipline, perseverance, and commitment, lessons that go far beyond the studio walls. It’s also given me a creative outlet and a way to express myself, even when words fall short. As I look ahead to studying Business at the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto, I know I’ll carry everything CDM has given me: confidence, resilience, and a strong work ethic, into this exciting next chapter.“

Introducing 2025 Grad: AMANDA 🎓💙

“I started when I was 4. My mom randomly put me into some pre-primary ballet class and I ended up really enjoying it. Because I’ve been at CDM for so long, it’s like my second family. I’ve learned and grown so much with everyone at CDM and I’m really grateful to have experienced that. Dance taught me a way of express my emotions and feelings through movement and I will carry that with me all through out my life. Next year I’m going to Wilfird Laurier University for Kinesiology and just as much as I’m going to miss everyone I’m also really excited for what the future holds.“

Introducing 2025 Grad: CEDAR 🎓💙

“I started dancing at CDM when I was just 7 years old, and now at 17, I can truly say it’s been one of the most meaningful parts of my life. I’ve always had a passion for movement, and from the very first dance class, I knew I had found a place where I felt safe, supported, and surrounded by people who shared that same love. CDM isn’t just a studio, it’s a community, a second home, and the best dance family I could’ve ever asked for. Through dance, I’ve learned the power of community, the importance of discipline, and how to express myself creatively. I’m so grateful for everything CDM has taught me and I’ll carry those lessons with me wherever I go. Next year, I am excited to attend Toronto Metropolitan University for Nursing!”

Introducing 2025 Grad: KERI 🎓💙

“When I first started dancing, it was just a fun activity, a way to move and express myself. But, when I joined CDM at the age of 5, dance took on a whole new meaning. The studio became my second home, a place where I could push myself, grow and learn not only as a dancer but as a person. It is here that I have found my voice not only on stage but in life. And it is here that I have found amazing friends that I consider my family. Through dance I have learned to be present, to let go of perfection and to really be in the moment. As I begin the next chapter of my life studying accounting and finance at the University of Waterloo, the lessons I’ve learned and the resilience I’ve built through dance will always stay with me!💛🖤”
