LSG: Raise Your Voice

A lot of student problems are addressed at Lassonde office on a daily basis. Most of the problems encountered by students are very common but some are very unique. LSG proposed a new initiative Raise Your Voice, which will act as a medium to address student problems more efficiently in respect of time and other resources. Raise your Voice, consists of Faculty representatives, Lassonde Senators and

Raise Your Voice representatives dedicated to assisting students in time of need. The team has been working tirelessly since Fall 2014 to identify the problems faced by our students. For the past six months we have been working in the background to help in making the necessary changes. Some examples of our contributions are solving coordination issues between a class and a professor and bringing forth to the office some unreasonable course conflicts. Our Goal is to contribute in improving the current services provided to our fellow students to make their experience at Lassonde School better. Our faculty representatives attend monthly faculty council meetings with the Dean and other members of Lassonde, providing a platform to put forth any problems that need to be worked on. We think our fellow students can contribute by sharing their problems and experiences. We will also be providing updates on Lassonde School activities to improve the experience for students and show that we care.
