Save this for the day you want to take the scenic route. 🐑

Off the Wild Atlantic Way coast, Great Blasket Island makes a pretty convincing case for spending the whole day outdoors.

Once home to an island community, today it’s all walking trails, wildlife and sea views.

You can visit between April and September (weather permitting), with ferries running from the Di**le Peninsula.

Our top tip? Bring a picnic and make a day of it!

Only in Ireland will you find the kind of roadblock you don’t mind waiting for! 🐑

Achill Island is one of the most scenic spots along Ireland’s west coast - think wild Atlantic views, rolling hills, and friendly sheep who clearly run the place. A visit here means slowing down, soaking up the landscape, and maybe sharing the road with a woolly local or two!

Who else thinks this beats city traffic any day? 🙋

Starting your Canada Day off right with a musical treat from Ireland♥️🎻💚

This is ‘Teampall An Ghleanntáin’ (pronounced cham-pull on glown-tawn), which means The Church of the Little Glen. It’s a melody that’s been part of Ireland’s musical tradition for generations.

It’s played here above Clew Bay in County Mayo, where the hills roll down to the sea and the bay is scattered with hundreds of tiny islands. A spot where the music feels like it belongs to the landscape!
