If Ireland’s hills are calling, Djouce Mountain in County Wicklow is a great place to start. ⬇️

Just an hour south of Dublin, Djouce is part of the Wicklow Mountains National Park and one of the most accessible mountain hikes in Ireland. The boardwalk trail means you can enjoy the walk without worrying about muddy boots - perfect for beginners or casual hikers.

🌸 In summer, you’ll be treated to colourful heather, fresh mountain air, and incredible views across the Wicklow Mountains and out towards the Irish Sea.
🥾 The full loop trail is about 8 km (5 miles) and takes around 2-3 hours at a gentle pace, with steady climbs that are rewarding but manageable.

Who wishes this was their view today? 🙋

One of the best ways to experience Ireland? Walk into a place where the traditional music has already started. 🎻

Across the island, music sessions fill pubs and bars with fiddles, flutes, singing and the kind of atmosphere you can feel the second you walk through the door.

Some happen in small village pubs, others spill out into packed bars in cities like Dublin and Belfast. And while these are just a few places to experience them, no two traditional music sessions ever sound exactly the same.

Swipe through for some spots around the island where you can experience traditional Irish music. 👉

Save this for your next Ireland trip, and tell us: where’s the best traditional music session you’ve ever experienced? 🎶

What if one of Ireland’s most famous myths was about to return? 🌊

According to folklore, 2026 is the year Hy-Brasil could reappear!

The phantom island was said to rise from the Atlantic mist somewhere off Ireland’s west coast before disappearing again, and people believed in it so strongly that it appeared on maps for centuries.

We’re tracing the real places connected to this legend, from Connemara and Mayo to the Aran Islands.
