A couple of weeks ago, I had the opportunity to attend the TMR Travel Conference, and while it was a long couple of days, it was absolutely worth it.

Conferences like these aren't just about catching up with suppliers or networking with other travel advisors (although that's a big part of it!). They're about learning.

Our industry is constantly changing. Resorts are renovating, airlines update their policies, new destinations emerge, and suppliers introduce new products. Staying informed means I can give my clients the most up-to-date advice and recommend the right fit for them, not just what's popular.

One thing I've learned over the years is that being a travel advisor is so much more than booking vacations.

✨It's building relationships with suppliers, so I know who to call when something goes wrong.

✨ I'm continuing to educate myself so I can answer your questions with confidence.

✨It's investing time away from my family and business because I believe my clients deserve someone who knows the industry inside and out.

Unfortunately, it's not all free trips and sipping cocktails by the pool as many people think. 😁
Behind every booking are countless hours of training, relationship building, problem-solving, and staying ahead of an industry that's always evolving.

And honestly... I wouldn't have it any other way. ❤️
