Last post I promise! I know there have been lots of hot air balloon posts from the group, but I had to add my own!
What a way to end our time — literally finishing the trip on a high. Thank you for following along, and thank you to the amazing women who shared this adventure with me. Goodbye Morocco!

Our last full day in Morocco started peacefully in a small village and ended in the beautiful chaos of the Medina of Marrakesh. From quiet streets to the nonstop energy, colours, sounds, and movement of the Medina — what an incredible contrast in one day.

With lots of moments being shared, I think these amazing accommodations deserved their own post.
The last few days have included two incredible hotels and an unforgettable overnight camp in the Sahara Desert — each one completely different and such a special part of this adventure!

Happy Mother’s Day from Morocco! What a perfect place to celebrate with a group of incredible mothers.
It seems service was a little hard to come by in the Sahara, so you’ve had a couple of days of missing me! But we have packed so much into these last few days that it’s hard to know where to begin…
Camel rides through the Sahara, climbing the dunes to watch the sunset, an overnight camp in the desert, waking before dawn to watch the sunrise over the dunes, an unforgettable visit to a nomadic village, a drumming lesson, and even a cooking class where the food was cooked in the sand…all ending with music and a bonfire under the stars. And that’s only some of it!
I truly can’t say enough about this trip. Morocco has been an absolute sensory overload in the best possible way, and without question, the experience of a lifetime.

Yesterday we experienced a completely different side of Morocco. We made our way to Midelt in the Atlas Mountains, stopping along the way to see the monkeys, before enjoying lunch at a traditional farmhouse.
We dressed in kaftans, had henna done, and walked through a Berber village — such a special way to experience the local culture and traditions. Every day here feels completely different from the last, and that’s what makes this journey so unforgettable.

Two nights in Fez — a sensory overload in the best possible way.
Traditional dinner in a local home, winding through the medina, pottery ateliers, the Jewish Quarter, and the tannery in full technicolor. Ended the trip at a belly dancing show where I somehow went from spectator to part of the band!
