LONG POST ALERT… and LOTS of pictures! But I’m not sorry!
I’m saving you from even more pictures of Strasbourg and Basel because, honestly, NOTHING compares to Lucerne! We definitely saved the best for last, and the weather and travel gods absolutely shone on us!
I have never experienced anything quite like this! We took a boat tour on the lake, rode a cogwheel train up Mount Pilatus through the clouds, and took a gondola back down. Every turn brought another breathtaking view, and I’m still trying to process how beautiful it all was!
Words and pictures simply don’t do it justice. This is one of those places that you have to experience for yourself, and Lucerne absolutely belongs on everyone’s bucket list!

Two more amazing days in Germany!
Sailing through the beautiful Moselle Valley, with stops in Bernkastel and Trier. We’ve enjoyed stunning vineyards, visited local w**eries, explored a castle and taken in the incredible cathedral in Trier.

Two great days in Germany!
Day one was exploring Köln, then making our way to the boat and setting sail down the beautiful Moselle.
Day two brought us to Cochem for a day of exploring this gorgeous little town, with its castle, vineyards and storybook scenery.
