From July 1-13, 2025, eight talented students from Northern Illinois University explored the heart of Thai culture in Phetchaburi as part of a special exchange program jointly organized by TAT Chicago, Northern Illinois University, and Phetchaburi Rajabhat University.

The group deepened their understanding of Thailand’s rich heritage through immersive lessons in Thai language, music, and traditional theater. They also explored Phetchaburi's traditional markets, historic temples and palaces, and the sugar palm orchards of Baan Rai Krang, where they learned how farmers utilize every part of these important crops.

This cultural exchange served as a bridge between communities, driven by learning, sustainability, and the universal language of music.
