We’re so thankful to TELUS and the TELUS Friendly Future Foundation for supporting Engineers of Tomorrow with TWO Community Board grants! 💚

Thanks to funding from the Interior & Northern British Columbia Community Board and the Manitoba & Saskatchewan Community Board, we’ll be able to reach more youth with hands-on engineering experiences that build confidence, curiosity, and real-world problem-solving skills.

This kind of community-driven support makes a real difference ... and we’re grateful to TELUS for investing in young people and the futures of the communities they call home.

Thank you for helping us inspire the next generation of innovators!

Great things happen when engineers give back to their communities.

We’re proud to recognize McElhanney as a Silver Sponsor of the Engineer in Residence program! Through their support - and the volunteer efforts of McElhanney engineers mentoring in local classrooms - students are seeing first-hand how engineering shapes the world around them.

Together, we’re inspiring the next generation of changemakers.

“Programs like Engineer in Residence are essential in exposing students - specially young females - to engineering concepts early on. This builds their confidence and curiosity, and increases the likelihood they’ll pursue physics and other STEM subjects in high school and beyond.”
– Grade 12 Physics Teacher, Orangeville

Thanks to a generous $15,000 grant from the TELUS Friendly Future Foundation, we’re expanding our Engineer in Residence program to reach even more students across the GTHA - especially in smaller and underserved communities.

This funding will support classroom visits, activity supplies, and training for new volunteer engineers who will serve as mentors and role models to help students see what’s possible.

Together, we're building a more inclusive, equitable future in STEM.

Thank you and ! 💜
