Had a full day at on Saturday. Followed Corey Conners for all 18 holes and then spent 5 hours behind the tee at Calamity Corner. Could see 7 and 8 behind us too, great spot for viewing. Didn’t expect to have to apply sunscreen so often, what a day.

Late afternoon round at - first visit there. Had heard it was a slow start but I thought the first five holes had a ton of interest. But the eye candy started in the short par 4 7th. And it didn’t stop after that. So many pictures, some decent shots, tons of fun. Tough track with thick rough surrounding the fairways and greens. Play forward and just enjoy the ride. Can’t wait to return.

Incredible day yesterday for our first day in Ireland. I have been waiting for this trip since the last Open at Portrush, I missed it and said I wouldn’t miss the next one. Lots of new courses for me to see on this trip, and I brought my good buddy Darren with me to experience it all. Started yesterday at and what an awesome track. Blew away my expectations. Tons of great holes and awesome greens. Great condition too. Everyone should have this course on their west coast of Ireland trip.

A great day at Dundas Valley Golf and Curling Club hosted by our friends at the Senior Ryder Cup. Golf Away Tours is proud to sponsor this Ontario Wide competition and Ron was lucky enough to join the directors of the SRC and the rest of their sponsors on a beautiful day in the Niagara Escarpment. Fun day had by all and good luck to all the clubs competing in the competition- we look forward to seeing the finalists in the fall at the closing championship.

Treat of a day today, sneaking out to while visiting some clients in Calgary. First visit in 18 years and it’s as good as I remember. Helped that we had a perfect day and even had some interesting spectators while playing the iconic 15th (original 1st), which inspired me to birdie the hole!
