🚨 And the scams go on! 🚨

By now, we all know the CRA doesn’t call Canadians demanding money (and the IRS never call!) Total fake! But here’s a new one that’s making the rounds, and it’s hitting travellers hard. 😡✈️🚢

Here’s how it works:
You’ve made a travel booking (yay!), and you want to contact the airline or cruise line. So you Google their number, and call the first one that pops up. Seems harmless, right?

Well… not so fast.

You give them your booking number and personal info. Then they tell you there’s an extra charge, like maybe “port fees went up,” or “a payment didn’t go through.” So you hand over your credit card.

🚨 STOP RIGHT THERE. 🚨
This is a scam.

These scammers are pretending to be the airline or cruise company. Now they have your personal info and credit card. Sometimes, they even call the real supplier, cancel your booking, and keep the refund for themselves. 😱

And you? You’re left with… nothing. And sadly, once it’s cancelled and refunded to a scammer, there’s very little we can do to fix it.

👉 So here’s the deal:
📌 Book through a trusted travel agent (like me!)
📌 Let me contact the cruise line or airline on your behalf
📌 Protect your money and your vacation
