Road trip with the pooch up north to Muskoka and on to Algonquin Park to explore the area's natural beauty and iconic landscapes.

Jethro is a great traveler, well behaved in public spaces and stimulated by new environments. Since oʻhe is now somewhere between 10 and 11 years old (to say nothing about me, the Dad) some of the hiking tested his endurance...but getting lotsa R+R now that he's home.

Next weekend's adventure: Lake Erie (Port Dover and Turkey Point). While the clients are away; this doggo and his Dad are gonna play!

The new dog park along groovy Geary Ave just opened yesterday. The former industrial area has been cleaned up and beautifully landscaped.

Mixed reviews (from me), however: really high fences+, artificial turf and urine?, water fountains outside the enclosed play area-, no shade protection-.

All the same. a welcome addition to the neighborhood and dog parents.

Extra +++ for Dark Espresso, Brewery and cafes/restos.
