The trip that started it all - Spain in 2004. We actually departed on March 11, 2004 - the day of the train bombings in Madrid. Our tour company worked quickly to re route us for our first few days. I loved the orange tree-lined streets of Córdoba, the breathtaking Alhambra in Granada, the traditional Flamenco dance show, and finding jellyfish on the beach in Torremolinos. Despite the rocky start, Spain stole my heart that trip and sparked the start of a lifelong love for travel ✈️❤️
