There’s just something special about pulling into a busy cruise port! 🚢🌴

A stop in a port of call like Nassau, Bahamas is always a highlight—not only do you get to explore a beautiful destination, but you also get the chance to see some of the world’s most magnificent cruise ships up close and personal. 😍🛳️

For cruise lovers, walking along the pier and checking out the other ships in port is part of the experience. It might even have you thinking about which one needs to be your next adventure!

The key to any good road trip is remembering to enjoy the journey itself. 🚗🎣

Sometimes the best memories aren’t necessarily at the destination—they’re the unexpected stops you make along the way.

On our travels, my son had the chance to make a few casts along the beautiful banks of the Saint John River. This shot was taken at the boat launch in Meductic, New Brunswick, and what a gorgeous little spot to discover.

We had a chance to chat with some of the locals, who shared their plans for upgrades to the area. It sounds like there are some exciting things ahead, and we’ll definitely be looking forward to stopping in the next time we’re passing through to see how things are coming along.

No big attraction. No itinerary. Just a beautiful river, a fishing rod, and a few minutes to enjoy where the road happened to take us.

That’s what a great road trip is all about. ❤️🎣🚗

🎭 If you’re in Manhattan and trying to decide which show to see… give Operation Mincemeat a try!

What a show! You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, and you’ll be completely drawn into the story from beginning to end.

It’s clever, hilarious, emotional, and incredibly well done. Without giving too much away, this one absolutely lived up to the hype and has easily become one of our favourite shows yet! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

There’s nothing quite like taking in a Broadway show while visiting New York City, and Operation Mincemeat is one I’d definitely recommend adding to your list.

Another unforgettable NYC experience! 🗽🎭❤️

Some places in sports just can’t be fully appreciated through a television screen or a photograph. You have to be there. ⚾️🏟️

The history. The atmosphere. The traditions. The feeling you get walking through the gates and realizing how many legendary moments have happened right where you’re standing.

Yankee Stadium — add it to the list of iconic sporting venues that words simply can’t do justice. 🗽⚾️

Whether you’re a Yankees fan or simply a sports fan, there’s something special about experiencing a game in the Bronx. The pinstripes, the monuments, the crowd, and more than a century of baseball history associated with the Yankees name.

Another incredible experience checked off the list. ✅

And one of the things I love most about travelling — sometimes the destination isn’t just about what you see…it’s about what you get to experience.

⚾️ Yankee Stadium — absolutely iconic.

🚂 Riding to the Top of New England! ⛰️

One of the highlights of our road trip was experiencing the Mount Washington Cog Railway and making the journey all the way to the summit of Mount Washington!

There’s something pretty incredible about climbing aboard the historic Cog Railway and slowly making your way higher and higher up the mountain. As you climb, the scenery changes, the views open up, and you quickly realize this isn’t your everyday train ride!

And then you reach the summit. 🏔️

At 6,288 feet, the top of Mount Washington is an experience all its own. The views, the rugged landscape, the famous weather, and simply standing at the highest point in the northeastern United States made the trip to the summit well worth it.

For me, this is exactly what a road trip should be about. It’s not just getting from one destination to another—it’s finding those unique experiences along the way that become part of the story.

The Mount Washington Cog Railway was definitely one of those experiences. 🚂❤️

Another adventure checked off the list…and another reminder that sometimes the journey really is just as memorable as the destination!

🏴‍☠️ A Little Pirate Adventure in North Conway! ⛳️🚗

One of the best parts of a road trip is making time for the stops that are simply FUN!

A visit to Pirate’s Cove Adventure Golf in North Conway was the perfect way to add a little friendly competition to the trip. ⛳️🏴‍☠️ Between the pirate-themed course, waterfalls, caves and plenty of laughs along the way, it’s a great reminder that a road trip isn’t just about getting to your destination — the memories you make along the way are part of the adventure.

That’s what I love about a good road trip. You can take the scenic route, stop when something catches your eye, discover places you might otherwise drive right past, and turn a simple travel day into one of the highlights of the trip.

And yes… mini golf bragging rights absolutely count. 😂🏆

If you’re travelling through North Conway, New Hampshire, Pirate’s Cove is a fun stop to add to the itinerary — especially for families, couples, or anyone who isn’t afraid of a little vacation competition!
