Our agents are experienced and here to help. Contact us today! As a Travel Agent, I make the process of travel planning easier for my clients and ensure they experience the best trip possible. I get to know and work directly with my clients in order to determine the best possible travel destinations, transportation arrangements, and accommodations for the client's particular needs. I may make sugg

estions to the client based on my experience, or offer complete travel packages from various resorts or cruise lines. I am often restricted to a budget, and must be highly organized in order to offer my clients travel arrangements that suit both their financial limitations and leisure or business travel expectations. Working often with computers or call airlines, cruise lines, resorts, and rental companies in order to secure travel arrangements for my customers. Researching information on my client's travel plans and relay important information including weather conditions, travel advisories and required documents for their destination is a must for me. Safety is also a factor in international travel, so keeping abreast of the latest news allows me to ensure that each planned destination is safe for my customers.

Starting October 12, 2025, a new digital border system will impact Canadians traveling to Europe.
What is EES?
Note: It is not the same as the ETIAS, which will be implemented in 2026:
While ETIAS (European Travel Information and Authorization System) is for visa-exempt travelers, EES will register both visa-exempt and visa-required travelers.
The Entry/Exit System (EES) is Europe's new automated border control system. Instead of stamping passports, it will digitally record when travelers enter and leave 29 European countries, including popular destinations like France, Italy, Spain, Germany, and the Netherlands.
Who Does This Affect?
All Canadian citizens traveling to these European countries for short stays (up to 90 days within any 180-day period) will need to register in the EES system. This applies whether you need a visa or are traveling visa-free.
The system covers these 29 countries:
Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, and Switzerland.
What's Different for Travelers?
First-time registration: Travelers will provide fingerprints and a digital photo
No more passport stamps: Digital tracking replaces physical stamps
Faster future crossings: Self-service kiosks will speed up repeat visits
90-day tracking: The system automatically calculates stay limits across all participating countries
Who Is Exempt?
EU citizens and residents
People with long-term residence permits
Certain business travelers (intra-corporate transfers)
Students and researchers on specific programs
Diplomats and heads of state
What This Means if you are Travelling to Europe on or after October 12:
Allow extra time at borders during the initial rollout
Ensure your passports are in good condition for digital scanning
Be prepared for biometric data collection on your first trip after October 12, 2025
The system aims to make future border crossings faster and more secure, but the initial implementation period may involve longer wait times as travelers and border officers adjust to the new process.
