The (a-frame portion of the) Foggy Moon Chalet Guesthouse was built in the sixties by a second generation Ucluelet family. It was originally a kit home from Can-Wes in West Vancouver and was constructed using materials shipped over from the mainland. When an industry and tourism boom in the 1970s left the town with a shortage of hotel rooms, the original family opened up the (now) Orca guestroom to guests, which they told us was the first Bed & Breakfast room on offer in Ucluelet! The great room was added as an addition in the mid-1980s, followed by the (now) Lazy Bear cabin in the 1990s, after the original family sold. Since then the guesthouse and cabin have played host to guests from all over the world as they explore our rugged West Coast! Come be our next guests ! We still have some spring & summer dates available. October is also now online ! (Logo work done by our fantastic in-house artist & signage by her dad @ Little City Signs)

🪑 Proud that our rentals are furnished with vintage finds! Upcycling, thrifting.. makes us 😍.

💪🏿 When we have to buy new, it’s local/of quality that’s made to last.

♻️ We love recycling. But love reducing more.
