Newfoundland Cruising Club

The Newfoundland Cruising Club was established in 1970. It is a collection of passionate, accomplished, sailors and power boaters who gather to meet, tell stories and share a love of ocean sailing and voyaging.

Meetings are held in the historic Crow’s Nest at 181 C Duckworth Street in St. John’s, NL. The Cruising Club meetings start at 7:00 p.m. with a 7:30 p.m. start for presenters and presentations. Sandwiches and hot beverages are available at no charge, and there is a cash bar.

New members welcome, an interest in cruising by sail or power is the only requirement. Annual Membership fees are $20 per season, which cover the cost of the sandwiches. The Drop-in fee for occasional attendance is $5 per person. Meetings are usually held on the second Wednesday of the month…. except for the December meeting.
