Day two of Virtuoso Travel Week in the books! Today started off with breakfast with my rockstarTrevello family with great chats and catching up. Then, I was off to do my Virtuoso Hosting refresher...required every five years to ensure I am staying up to date to be the perfect host on Virtuoso Voyages (keep an eye on this space for opportunities to joing me on a Virtuoso Voyage)! Check...certification done and followed by a delicious lunch celebrating virtuoso host certified advisors and the select cruise lines who participate in the Virtuoso host program. Next up with a continuation of the "Globetrotting" meetings with suppliers, this time with a culinary angle. Great suppliers from around the globe...even a few Canadian ones! The final part of the day was the big Welcome session as the main part of the conference starts in the morning. We heard from the executives behind the Virtuoso network who shared the latest developments, stats and trends in the travel world. Lots of interesting information! The keynote speaker was incredible...Will Guidara, auther of Unreasonable Hospitality. Laughs and tears were had hearing his story and I will be buying the book! All in all, a fantastic second day!

After a long travel day yesterday, followed by a nap, a snack and a very impromptu Lenny Kravitz concert, it was time to get down to business today for Day 1 of Virtuoso Travel Week. We started the day with a nice strong coffee and breakfast than off to meet with several Virtuoso Partners who are the best in the business. Lots of great connections as they shared the lastest and greatest updates for their respective companies. Then after a great lunch celebrating the great communities in Virtuoso (I'm a member of the Cruise Community in the network), we then had some phenomenal professional development (thanks Neen for the advanced copy of your new "soon to be best selling" book!!). We then capped off the day with an amazing dinner with the Windstar cruises team who shared some great new upcoming itineraries (watch thismspace for upcoming groups!). What a great day! Now to get some zzzs before and equally full and knowledge packed day again tomorrow!
