Beyond Thunder Bay’s iconic breakwall—built in the early 1900s to shelter the bustling grain port from Superior’s fierce winds—lies a gateway to wide-open water and raw northern beauty. Work began in 1883 to build the breakwater from Bare Point, South and from the Kam, North. Construction continued year round until 1956.

Out here, calm turns to adventure, and the lake truly comes alive.

We have three vessels. One boat dedicated to Harbour Tours, "Journeyer" 38 feet 12 passengers, one for Big Lake Adventures, "Frodo", 40 feet 6-8 passengers for overnight 12 for day sails, and a 500HP 12 passenger RHIB Zodiac Hurricane for getting around fast to all beautiful Lake Superior destinations.
