Our Story

Let the mountains move you in Valemount and the Robson Valley. You can’t help but feel humbled by the vastness of our mountain peaks and the rugged beauty of Valemount, a quaint mountain village tucked into the northern reaches of British Columbia’s North Thompson Region, along the famed Yellowhead Highway. Your gateway to endless mountain adventures in the Cariboo, Monashee and Canadian Rockies, Valemount is home to Mount Robson, a Unesco World Heritage Site and the highest peak in the Canadian Rocky chain. Feast your eyes on the enduring natural beauty taking to the wilderness at Berg Lake, Cranberry Marsh or along the Fraser River. Experience endless outdoor adventures, hiking, biking, fishing and rafting in summer, and skiing and sledding oceans of powder each winter. Just imagine the adrenaline rush you’ll feel when you add a helicopter to those summer and winter pursuits – heli-hiking, heli-skiing, finding serene and extreme adventures in our mountain playground.
