Swift staging area
8AM to 4PM
Backyard style 8 hour run/hike to end the season, plus a little fundraiser for VARDA.
This is not a race and not an organized event. No timing, no bibs, no sweeps, no first aid, no aid crew. Just friends doing laps on public trails. You're responsible for your own day and out there at your own risk.
HOW IT WORKS
A loop goes out every hour on the hour for 8 hours, starting and finishing at the Swift staging area.
• Pick a 5.2K or 2.6K lap each hour
• 8AM start, last lap out at 3PM
• Solo or split it with a team
• Stack your laps: Half marathon, 20 miler or full marathon
Must be in the start corral 1 minute before the hour if you're taking that lap.
POTLUCK AID STATION
Bring something to share if you can, your own hydration, fuel and gear.
$20 SUGGESTED DONATION
Goes to maintenance of our amazing trail network and gets you in.
E-transfer [email protected]. All donations go to Valemount Area Recreation Development Association (VARDA) after the event.
Come for one hour, come for all eight, or bring a lawn chair and help run the aid station.
