Just got home from my Back to Back on the Celebrity Reflection Girls Cruise ๐Ÿ‘ฏโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿ‘ฏโ€โ™€๏ธ!

I am exhausted, but I do really want to share a couple of experiences we had.

We splurged and had the chance to try two upgraded private resort experiences, and both were such a great way to spend the day. โ˜€๏ธ๐ŸŒด

At Hideaway Beach at Perfect Day at CocoCay, we booked a cabana with its own pool, and honestly, we never even made it to the beach! Having our own private space to swim, relax, enjoy drinks and spend the day together made it feel like a mini resort within the resort. It was comfortable, easy and such a fun way to enjoy CocoCay.

At Royal Beach Club Nassau, we booked day beds, and they were incredibly comfortable. We also had a very attentive server who took great care of us throughout the day, so we could relax, enjoy the atmosphere and barely have to move, which is exactly how a beach club day should be!

Both experiences were definitely a splurge, but they added so much comfort to our beach days and made them feel a little more special.

I would absolutely book both again. ๐Ÿ–๏ธ๐Ÿน

โœจ Flashback Friday: Senso-Ji Temple, Tokyo
Snapped this photo during a visit to Tokyo in 2023, and a stop at the iconic giant red lantern at the Kaminarimon Gate! ๐Ÿฎ

Senso-Ji is Tokyo's oldest temple, dating all the way back to 645 AD. Walking through Kaminarimon onto Nakamise-dori (the bustling shopping street leading to the temple) is one of those "wow, I'm really in Japan" moments every traveler should experience at least once. ๐Ÿ‡ฏ๐Ÿ‡ต

Have you had a chance to visit Japan?

Okay I promise last post till my next cruise (which starts today on the Celebrity Reflection ๐Ÿคฃ).

I wanted to share some of the spectacular experiences in Alaska. And this was my 5th time there so I didn't take many pictures. But still as beautiful as always.

I do love me some The Retreat on Celebrity. โค๏ธ It's definitely my preferred way to travel, so I was excited to see the updates that have just been completed on Celebrity Solstice.

I wasn't able to stay in a suite on this sailing but I did get a peek (and took pictures).

Some of the highlights include:

โœจ A beautifully redesigned Retreat Sundeck with updated furnishings and plenty of comfortable places to relax.

๐Ÿธ A refreshed Retreat Lounge that's elegant, welcoming, and the perfect spot for a morning coffee or an evening cocktail.

๐Ÿฝ๏ธ Luminae, the exclusive restaurant for Retreat guests, continues to deliver outstanding service and a menu that changes daily.

๐Ÿ›๏ธ Refreshed suites with updated finishes and thoughtful touches that make your room feel even more special.

๐Ÿ›๏ธ New suite options, including the Panoramic Infinite Veranda Suites and other new stateroom categories, give guests even more ways to experience Solstice.

For me, though, The Retreat isn't just about the beautiful spaces. It's the service, the little details, the quieter atmosphere, and the feeling that everything is just a little more effortless.

If you've been wondering whether The Retreat is worth it, I'd say if it fits your budget, it's absolutely an experience I'd recommend trying at least once.

Have you sailed in The Retreat before? I'd love to hear what your favourite part was.

I've been sailing on the newly revitalized Celebrity Solstice this week, and I have to say... Celebrity has done a beautiful job.

While I'll save all of the changes to The Retreat for another post, there are plenty of other updates throughout the ship that really stand out.

โœจ My favourites include:
๐Ÿ Trattoria Rossa โ€“Yummy pizza, steak, pasta, and more
๐Ÿฅฉ Fine Cut Steakhouse โ€“ now onboard and looking absolutely stunning.
๐Ÿธ Boulevard Lounge & Boulevard Bar โ€“ live entertainment (dueling pianos) and evening cocktails.
๐ŸŽฑ The Parlor โ€“ a fun new venue with games, sports and a relaxed pub atmosphere.
๐ŸŒ… Sunset Park โ€“ one of my favourite places! It's a beautiful outdoor space to relax, enjoy live music or simply take in the ocean views. And they have a warm cookie hour ๐Ÿช
๐Ÿ’† The Spa has also been refreshed, creating an even more relaxing atmosphere.

Beyond the new venues, the ship feels brighter, more modern and refreshed without losing everything people have always loved about Solstice.

Currently sailing the stunning Celebrity Solstice roundtrip from Vancouver to Alaska, and it has already been such a busy start to the week!

Embarkation in Vancouver port was, let's just say, not the smoothest start. If you've been here you know what I mean. But once on the ship all is forgotten.

Weโ€™ve been busy getting everything ready for our group shore excursion in Juneau, hosted a cocktail party onboard, and are travelling with an incredible group of 134 guests as part of our Distinctive Voyage sailing.

Yesterday was a definite highlight, we saw bears in Icy Strait Point, which felt like the perfect Alaska moment.

Iโ€™m also excited to share more photos of the Celebrity Solstice later this week. She has been beautifully refurbished with so many new spaces onboard, and Iโ€™ll be posting a closer look soon.

Alaska really should be on everybody's bucket list at least once, or like me this is my 5th time here!
