One of my most favourite times to visit either of the parks, on the west coast or the east coast is coming up.

There is something extra magical about Christmas in Disney.

Plus it’s not too late to get there this year! A couple of weeks ago I booked a last minute trip for this month and I can’t wait for them to experience the atmosphere!

✨Gift cards ✨
It’s not secret that I am a big fan of using gift cards in the parks. There are many reasons why I typically suggest this form of payment for my clients!
💵 helps with budgeting - sometimes I have different gift cards based on my budget for the trip. For example, a gift card dedicated to dining, a gift card for other purchases, and then gift cards for the kids purchases.
💳 save money on fees and exchange - if your bank charges you a fee for every transaction you make you are wasting precious money. If you load up your gift card in one or two go’s then you are good to go!
🎁 when we have a trip planned in advance and there are special events such as Christmas or birthdays or even allowance add up, we can gift Disney gift cards even from Canada. You can easily combine gift cards as well.
🛍️ so where can you get them? There are a few different wars to do this. You can either pull out American money or pay for them with your credit card in the parks or at a grocery store close by. Or you can purchase your cards in Canada, they will be in Canadian funds and uses the exchange rate from the night before you make a transaction. The card readers at the parks tells you how much you have left over! OR if you shop with optimum points and you have enough for a $50 gift card, I always add it to my cart when I’m doing a grocery shop and then ask to use $50 of credits on my groceries! In my Disney, girl math that makes the gift cards free because I used my points ;)
