Update on Westjet’s new “Ultra Basic” Fare.

Before you jump on what you think is a “good deal” it’s ESSENTIAL that you read the fine print!

Here’s the ‘Cole’s Notes’ of what to expect if you book this fare:

🚫No carry-on bag allowed (Exceptions include clients travelling to/from Europe or Asia, travellers who purchased Extended Comfort on all flight segments, or travellers with medical requirements.

✅Clients travelling with an infant are permitted one diaper bag

🛑One personal item is permitted and must fit under the seat on board the aircraft.

🛑Checked baggage is permitted for a fee

🛑 Carry-On baggage will have a fee and you may be charged the checked baggage fee based on overhead availability

🛑Travellers are Last to board (exceptions include those who have purchased Extended Comfort on all flight segments, or clients who have Silver, Gold or Platinum status with WestJet Rewards).

🛑Pre-assigned seats at the back of the aircraft.

🚫No guarantee of being seated with travelling companions
