We were fishing for Chinook salmon in these big bait balls. The bait is Anchovy as the salmon that we cleaned were full of Anchovy. You can see the salmon at the bottom and the suspended arcs are fish.

At least a dozen big sea lions feeding on a very large herring bait ball. We were at West Bay on southern Gambier Island. They seem to be working as a team.
