June is National Indigenous History Month. Destination Vancouver respectfully acknowledges that Vancouver is located on the traditional, unceded territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations.
As a young city on an ancient land, we are committed to learning from our Indigenous partners and supporting Indigenous cultural opportunities. We encourage advisors to explore and share Indigenous experiences such as Talaysay Tours and the Museum of Anthropology, which offer meaningful ways for clients to connect with the stories, cultures, and traditions of these lands.
