The transformation begins. From a utility Vancouver HandiDART bus to her new life as a sightseeing bus. Started with upgrading the interior lights to LEDs and started the paint work by "blacking out" the windows. This week her former school markings come off and the paint job continues

Step 1 - bringing the bus home. Enjoyed the ride from Vic across Active Pass and through the Fraser Valley.

Next steps are giving her a good cleaning, a paint touch up, some lighting and she'll be ready for next season

But first, a 3-day test run at the Brigade Days in early September. After that, she'll be adding service to the Harrison Tulip Festival next spring

Here we go, transit hopping at 5:15am to catch a ride on the BC Ferries to grab our "new" bus. Stay tuned, pictures to follow. Thanking our friends at Pacific Christian School in Victoria for the nice bus 😎
