The Dolomites are one of those places that live up to their reputation. Jagged limestone peaks rise straight from green valleys, mountain roads wind from village to village, and every ride ends with a good meal and a great view.

Our Dolomites itinerary is designed for riders who want to experience the region beyond the postcards — climbing iconic passes, staying in family-run hotels, and spending a week immersed in the landscapes and culture of northern Italy.

Known as ‘the mountain in the sea,’ Corsica’s roads are famous among cyclists for their scenery and solitude — one moment you’re climbing through pine forests, the next you’re descending toward the Mediterranean, passing hilltop villages shaped by generations of Corsican culture and tradition.

From quiet roads to comfortable stays and all the experiences in between, Portugal has long been a favourite among our travellers.

“We can’t say enough wonderful things about our trip through the Alentejo region of Portugal. We travelled during off-season, but the weather was perfect for biking, and some days we felt like we were the only ones on the road! The biking routes were beautiful, and just the right length and difficulty. The rewards after a long climb i.e., spectacular scenery and decadent accommodations, were well worth it... We knew we could trust Randonnee [Tours] to ensure a fabulous trip for us."

There’s something to be said for summer in Ontario: bustling local farmers’ markets, quiet country roads and well-marked trails, long days in the saddle, acclaimed restaurants and wineries, sunsets over the lake, and charming boutique hotels.

If you’re looking for a cycling holiday a little closer to home — one that combines relaxed riding, excellent food and wine, and the character of small-town Ontario — consider Prince Edward County.

Often overlooked in favour of its famous neighbours, Umbria reveals a slower side of Italy — its appeal lies in its verdant landscapes, hilltop villages, and a deep connection to art, history, and faith.

Starting just south of Perugia, our cycling routes wind through Torgiano, Bevagna, and Todi before ending in Orvieto. Each town is rich in character, with gothic architecture, numerous art galleries, and unforgettable food and wines.

If you’re after a quieter side of Italy, this might be exactly what you’re looking for.

Switzerland feels almost imagined, too beautiful to be accidental.

You begin in a valley threaded with waterfalls, where rushing rivers and distant cowbells follow you along the trail. The path climbs steadily and soon you’re high above it all, walking beneath the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau — peaks so vast they recalibrate your sense of scale.

But it’s not just the mountains. It’s how seamlessly everything fits together: trains whisk you from village to ridgeline, hikes shift from meadows to mountain paths, and every stop seems to outdo the last.

"In 1983, I flew to Europe with a bicycle and spent 6 months cycling through France. After several weeks, I remember arriving to Provence and thinking I had found nirvana; cycling from Saint-Rémy to Les Baux and over to Gordes and the hill-towns that make up the Luberon on a day in late fall, with the wine harvest on, I made a note to self - come back here.

Over 40 years later, this region remains a favourite destination and always will."

Wake to the sound of waves rolling in against the rocks, ease into the morning with coffee on the balcony and crisp ocean air.

Set off along the rugged coastal trail, where wind-shaped spruce and hidden coves line the edge of the Pacific, the path weaving between forest and shoreline — if you’re lucky, catch a glimpse of the wildlife that calls this place home. As the day settles, find your way to a favourite local spot, where fresh, locally inspired flavours and an easy west coast pace invite you to linger a little longer.

Out here, where rainforest meets the sea and everything feels quietly connected, it doesn’t take long to slow down and even less time to feel completely restored.
