We are so thankful to Gladys Michell in sharing some of her family's incredible culture, history and artistry. We are honoured to have it on loan at the Vanderhoof Cultural & Tourism Centre to share some of Dr. Mary John's legacy and contributions to everyone that she encountered.
As the new cultural centre is on the unceded and traditional lands of the Saik'uz First Nation the museum and centre are committed towards reconciliation and reconcili-action.

Please come by and take in the exhibit and we will have a special celebration in October, so stay tuned.

Pete Rodseth's amazing wood carving, a testament to his love of life, nature, the earth and his home of Vanderhoof and Mother Earth has found an incredible space at the new Vanderhoof Visitor and Cultural Centre. Pop by and see it for yourself, bring a guest and delight in Pete's legacy.

Come check out the local art, books, candles, t-shirts and more. Met our visitor counsellors and get directions or ideas for a day outing for your visiting friends and relatives. Open until Labour Day 9-5PM. After Labour Day the new centre is open Monday-Friday 8:30AM-4:30PM.
