Frankfurt is often known as Germany’s financial center, but there’s much more to the city than skyscrapers and trade fairs. It offers a unique mix of modern city life and historical charm making it a great destination for both business travelers and tourists.

Explore the reconstructed Romerberg in the Old Town, visit the Goethe House or take in the skyline from the top of the Main Tower. The Stadel Museum is a must for art lovers, with works ranging from the Old Masters to contemporary pieces.

Last night Costa Rica Tourism hosted a destination showcase at the Illuminarium in Toronto’s Distillery District. Leading DMCs, hotels and travel partners presented their services, with the Minister of Tourism in attendance, highlighting the country’s commitment to global travel collaboration.

The second leg of our FAM tour took us from Dusseldorf to the city of Cologne where we had the pleasure of staying at the historic Excelsior Hotel Ernst, established in 1863 and located directly across from the magnificent Cologne Cathedral.

The group experienced the stunning Gothic architecture of the cathedral and sampled delicious local cuisine. They also visited the Chocolate Museum and explored the rich history of fragrance at the renowned Farina House, the birthplace of Eau de Cologne since 1709.

During CG Journey’s recent FAM tour to Dusseldorf the group had the pleasure of staying at a top-tier luxury property - Breidenbacher Hof Düsseldorf.

The hotel team provided exceptional support, especially to those in our group who weren’t feeling their best - always available, attentive and professional. The dedicated breakfast and dinner space at the Show kitchen was a thoughtful touch and the food was absolutely delicious.

Rooms were spacious, modern and comfortable and the hotel’s central location made it a perfect base for exploring the city.

We’re grateful for the outstanding hospitality and we highly recommend Breidenbacher Hof to anyone seeking luxury and exceptional service in the heart of Dusseldorf.
