Ever wonder what a Tally-Ho horse’s morning looks like before they greet guests in downtown Victoria?

🌅 The day begins at Hidden Acres Farm in Saanichton, where our horses enjoy breakfast alongside their friends in the paddock. After breakfast, each horse receives a full-body groom, a foot wash, and their tail is neatly braided for the day ahead.

🚛 Next, they take a short trailer ride into town, where they meet their driving partner for the day. Every horse is fitted with their own individually sized harness, carefully adjusted to ensure a comfortable fit throughout their shift. Once they’re paired with their carriage, our team makes any final tack adjustments to suit that specific carriage.

🐴 Then it’s time for a leisurely walk to 465 Belleville Street, where they settle in with a second breakfast while welcoming visitors and locals before heading out on their tours through beautiful Victoria.

From the farm to downtown, every part of the morning is designed with our horses’ comfort and care in mind—because happy horses make for happy tours.

🐴 Ever wondered what it feels like to slow down and actually see Victoria?

Most visitors rush through the Inner Harbour with their eyes on their phones. But the ones who climb aboard one of our carriages see something different.

They notice the Victorian-era rooflines along Belleville Street. They hear the steady rhythm of hooves on pavement. They feel the city breathe.
