Captain's Log, Stardate: Unexpected.

While conducting a routine exploration of the Trek Station's Space Display, Quacktain Kirk made a remarkable discovery...

A previously unknown duck species.

Initial observations indicate the creature is small, silent, and appears to be made entirely of translucent matter.

Current mission objectives include:
🖖 Establishing peaceful relations
🖖 Determining whether it is friend or foe
🖖 Resisting the urge to adopt it immediately
🖖 Not causing an intergalactic incident

Scientists are calling the discovery Anas Quacktus Minor. The Quacktain is calling it "Steve."

Captain’s Log, Stardate: Diplomatic.

Quacktain Kirk has officially initiated First Contact negotiations inside the Vulcan Tourism & Trek Station.

Initial reports indicate the meeting began peacefully, though tensions rose briefly after the Quacktain attempted to trade souvenir buttons for control of the quadrant.

Current diplomatic objectives include:
🖖 Establishing interstellar relations
🖖 Maintaining eye contact under pressure
🖖 Nodding thoughtfully while understanding absolutely nothing
🖖 Trying not to fall dramatically off the ambassador’s hand

Federation officials remain cautiously optimistic.

Quacktain Kirk has officially entered recovery mode after the intense physical demands of mural duty. His chosen method of rehabilitation? A luxurious Button Bath™ at the Vulcan Tourism & Trek Station. 🛁🖖

Current treatment includes:

Medical officers report morale is up significantly… though the Quacktain now refuses to leave the souvenir section.
