Updated Public Skating and Shinny for September 4-6

The schedule with public skating and shinny times will be updated regularly, please check the schedule on the website for more information as the schedule is subject to change at short notice https://wainwright.ca/living/parks-recreation/. During public skating helmets are mandatory for anyone under the age of 18 and recommended for all. During shinny helmets are mandatory for all. Horseplay will not be tolerated. Public Skating and Shinny are use at your own risk and parent supervision is recommended.

Friday September 4th:
2:00-4:00pm Public Skating sponsored by Rightway Sanitation

Saturday September 5th:
10:00-11:15am Shinny sponsored by Bunge

Sunday September 6th:
10:00-11:30am Shinny sponsored by Bunge
5:30-7:00pm Public Skating sponsored by Rightway Sanitation

Regular Weekend Public Swimming Times at the Cplex Pool Saturday and Sunday

The PMM and Cplex are closed Monday, September 7th.

Back-to-school season is here, and that means ore school buses on the road and more children walking to and from bus stops. Let’s all do our part to keep kids safe.

• Slow down in school zones and residential areas, especially mornings and afternoons.
• Always stop for school buses with flashing red lights and extended stop arms – it’s the law.
• Watch carefully for children crossing the street or waiting at bus stops.
• Avoid driving while distracted. Stay alert when you’re behind the wheel.
