Greetings Everyone!
We are home from our fabulous trip to Germany, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Austria, Slovakia and Budapest! 6 countries in 16 days! Wow! This amazing trip offered so many wonderful experiences, including beautiful scenic views, tasty food and exciting market places that our travellers will share at our BBQ this summer.
But now, at this time, Ted and I are planning for our trip in April, 2026 to Spain, Portugal and Morocco with an extension to Madrid and Barcelona!
Currently, we have 10 signed up for this 19 day trip that is travelling from April 17th-May 5th, 2026. Just a note, we have booked it as a PRIVATE trip but we need to sign up 14 travellers. Therefore, we need to register 4 more people.
The beauty of having a private trip is having a smaller group led by a Tour Director without other Go Ahead travellers. A private tour with only our travellers allows us to travel with people we know and have created a community with with less potential for unexpected situations with unfamiliar travellers.
So, if you’re interested in further information about this trip, Ted and I welcome you to reach out to request joining our zoom meeting this Friday evening where you will meet our registered travellers and get an overview of the itinerary and further information about this wonderful company.
We zoom monthly from September to June so we can review information with our travellers about the upcoming trips - itinerary, excursions, language, money/tipping, phone plans, electronics, and what you will need to bring with you, passport, etc. We also gather our travellers 3 times a year for a Holiday Potluck, a St. Patrick's Day gathering and a BBQ in the summer. They are social events that are a lot of fun with a great way to get to know your travelling companions.

For those interested in becoming travellers...
The promotion deal currently for 2026 tours is $75 per person. Travellers may also be eligible for a $100 multi-tour discount if they have already travelled with EF/Go Ahead such as the 2025 Germany, Switzerland, Austria and Budapest trip ($100 off). Ted and I will cover the cost of your return transportation to and from the airport and if you bring in new travellers, we give you a free excursion.
To provide more information, if you are interested in booking, travellers will either pay $99 if they sign up with the automatic payment plan using their debit card which entitles them to a 60-day risk free period, or alternately they can leave a deposit of $300, plus insurance, if purchased. Payments made with a credit card provide a 72-hour risk free period for cancellation. However, if you purchase their excellent travel protection plan for $359 within 3 days of booking, travellers will also receive the Any Reason Protection for FREE (normally an extra $100). This will allow you to cancel your trip up to 90 days prior to departure and get your money back. Ask any of our past travellers about the EF/Go Ahead insurance. We found out first hand when we travelled to England, Scotland and Ireland in 2022 how great it really is. But, here is a link to more information about it: https://www.goaheadtours.ca/about/trip-protection Let me know if you have any questions at all. I’m happy to assist.
I hope you find this information helpful. If you want more information, Ted and I highly recommend you to call Sara (Sales Account Manager), or Eileen (Tour Consultant) or Sabrinna and Brandon at 1-800-742-1731. They have all the information to ensure that you are getting the best possible price. They also love meeting our travellers and can apply the bonuses for you immediately!
Enjoy the day!
