Listen, if you’d told me a few years ago that I would get this excited over LUGGAGE TAGS?…. I’d have called you crazy.

But lovers of Disney Cruise Line know that this isn’t just any luggage tag. This is the first sign that your cruise is so close you can start to feel it. Literally.

Here’s how they work:

• You’ll receive the tags in the mail typically 30-45 days before your sailing date

• You get 1 tag per person for cruises 4 nights or fewer, and 2 tags per person for cruises 5 nights or longer

• Put them on your checked bags after flying (or before heading to the cruise terminal). Do NOT put them on bags before an airline flight, as they can get ripped off

• Leave tagged bags with the curbside porters at the cruise terminal; they will be delivered directly to your stateroom by late afternoon/early evening

• Keep carry-ons untagged: Do NOT tag your daily backpack, purse, or carry-on bag. You will keep those with you through security and onboard until your room is ready

Hey, if someone could please tell my son that I’m actually loads of fun when you put me in a theme park with friends and I don’t have to ask them 17 times to put on their shoes… that would be awesome. Thanks!

Universal Orlando Resort has been my comfort park for as long as I can remember. If you want to talk nostalgia, this place is it for me. I’m a park-to-park girly (Universal Studios to Universal Islands of Adventure) every single time.

Some fun facts about the Universal side of me:

• My favourite ride will (likely) forever be E.T. Adventure
• I will always expect a bird to land on me (unscripted) during Animal Actors on Location!
• Antojitos at CityWalk has the best guac and queso - do not miss out on these
• Removing JAWS was a mistake. I said what I said. Give it back 😭
