If you love being underwater as much as we do, you won't want to miss the Ocean Film Festival Canada when it comes to town this September! 🌊💙

We're excited to be partnering with the festival as it tours Vancouver, Victoria, Nanaimo, and Squamish, bringing six inspiring short films that celebrate ocean adventure, incredible marine life, and the people working to protect our blue planet.

We have a new addition to our boat captain roster —it's Rob Rix!🙌

Many of you know Rob as the self-proclaimed 'Sunday Man' at our Expedition Centre, along with his adorable sidekick, Genghis🐾, providing great customer support and making sure guests have great scuba and snorkel & kayak adventures.

Rob still plans to be the 'Sunday Man' and excited to be at the helm of 'Topline' from time to time.

👋 Meet the newest member of our Sea Dragon boat crew and shop support, Tessa Wilde!

Some of you may have met Tessa around the shop or out on our boat, Topline, as a guide for our Snorkel & Kayak tours or helping with our SCUBA charters. We are thrilled to have Tessa on our team! 🐉🤿

A little bit about Tessa:
Although she grew up on the Canadian prairies, she always felt drawn to the underwater world. After getting certified in Lake Okanagan in 2024, she was instantly hooked and knew scuba was much more than a hobby so in April 2026, Tessa move to Vancouver to be closer to the ocean and joined the Sea Dragon team.

Tessa is working towards becoming a Divemaster and Instructor. When she's not diving, she's exploring the world of tec diving, travelling, or spending time with her three cats. 🐈🐈🐈
