RIDEAU VISTA CHILI FEST IS BACK!
Do you have a famous chili recipe that your family begs for on snow days? A secret ingredient you swear makes it award-worthy?
Or a simmering pot that could bring the whole community together? MAYBE you just want to eat your way through all the fabulous chilis!

We'd LOVE to have you join us, either as a cook or a taste tester!!

Dust off your ladle, perfect your spice blend, clean off your taster spoons and come show us what you've got. Whether you're sweet and smoky, bold and blazing, or classic and hearty, there's room for every kind of chili at the table.

Join our small, passionate team at Forno! Everything we serve we make in-house with love and care. We’re looking for:

• BAKER
Seasonal: June to September
Schedule: Friday to Tuesday 6am - 2pm
Seeking an experienced sourdough baker skilled in mixing, shaping & baking. Must thrive in a fast-paced team and be comfortable with physical work.

• PIZZA MAKER
Seasonal: June to September
Schedule: 20-40 hours/week, variable shifts including evenings & weekends
Looking for someone with sourdough/dough experience who thrives in a fast-paced, open kitchen. Prep fresh ingredients, hand-stretch pizzas & work our wood-fired oven.

• KITCHEN HELPER
Seasonal: June to September
Schedule: 20–40 hours/week, early mornings or late evenings
Looking for a reliable, hard-working team player who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen. Duties include food prep, sandwich & app assembly, cash, dishwashing, inventory, and supporting our wood-fired operation.

• SERVER
Seasonal: May to September
Schedule: 30-40 hours/week, variable shifts including evenings & weekends
Looking for a friendly, confident team player who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment. Duties include serving dine-in & retail guests, making espresso drinks, serving wine/beer/cocktails, operating POS, light food prep.

Work with local ingredients, wood-fired ovens, and a close-knit team that loves what we do! Lots of hands-on, team-based work in a fast-paced, creative environment. We’d love to hear from you!

Village offices are closed today because of the weather. If you are heading to Westport today to shop, eat or attend an event, please check with your designation first to make sure they are open and operating. We're all digging out from yesterday's snow and it may take us a bit!

Town Hall will be closed Monday, January 26, 2026, due to inclement weather,

The office will reopen Tuesday, January 27, 2026 at 8:30 a.m.
