Welcome to Butterfly Beach, a new entry to the Wheatley beach rental this year. This fully renovated 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom lake house has everything you need for a family vacation. Room for 6 to sleep comfortably with 2 queen beds, and 1 double. Breathtaking view of Lake Erie from the main open concept living area, and the master bedroom. se is heated in the Winter with a forced air furnace, and cooled down in the Summer with Central Air. There is lots of air flow by opening up the windows and doors as well, if you wanted to enjoy a nice breeze. The Kitchen is stocked with all your major appliances including a stove, fridge, microwave and a dishwasher. Also included is a Kettle, toaster and Coffee Maker. The kitchen is equipped with all the silverware, dishes and pots and pans you would need. Enjoy sitting on one of two decks and take in the view. One deck off the house, and one down by the beach. A BBQ is available as well if you wanted to grill up a nice steak, or fresh fish of the day from the local fisheries. Enjoy siting by the fire at the outdoor fire pit while looking out over the water. Of course, we have to mention the 53 feet of private sandy beach. Enjoy building sand castles with the kids, or skipping stones. Or just relax with your feet in the breaking waves. A 42" HDTV is available for your use, as well as High Speed Internet (Via WiFi) so you can stream your NetFlix or apple TV shows if you wanted to. A mini Stereo is also available to listed to the radio and CDs. Wheatley is a beautiful area with lots of activities to do. Visit Point Pelee or take a fairy ride to Pelee Island. Enjoy visiting the local wineries in the EPIC Wine Country. (Essex Pelee Island Coast Wineries). Local shops and amenities are abundant with everything you would need within 5 to 20 drive. We are located between Point Pelee National Park, and Wheatley Provincial parks with trails and activities to keep you busy. If you like fishing, Wheatley is the Worlds largest Fresh Water fish exporter. Take a boat out onto the lake and catch some great fresh water fish. The boat ramp is just around the corner at the Wheatley Harbour Authority. And I can't forget to mention the migration pattern for the Birds and Butterflies for all those Birders out there. The Wheatley area is famous for it's bird watching in the spring time. We love coming down to this cottage, and we know you will too.
