Usually done over 2–3 days, this one isn’t to be underestimated and water can be hard to find along the way — so pack plenty and plan ahead.

Mt. Wedgemount isn’t an easy hike, but that’s part of what makes it so rewarding. With 14 km round trip and over 1,350 m of elevation gain, it’s a real challenge, but the views at the top are unforgettable. If you have the time, camping by the lake is the best way to experience it. Watching the sun set and rise over the mountains makes every step worth it.
