It’s cutthroat out there

September 30 is a day to honour the children who never returned home from residential schools, as well as Survivors, their families, and communities.

It is an opportunity to listen, learn, and reflect on the lasting and intergenerational impacts of the residential school system, and to recognize the ongoing work toward truth and reconciliation.

We are grateful to live, work, and operate each day on the shared, unceded territory of the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw (Squamish Nation) and Lil̓wat7úl (Lil'wat Nation). We recognize and honour their enduring connection to these lands, as well as their cultures, languages, histories, and traditions.

If you’re visiting Whistler, we encourage you to spend time at the Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Centre () to learn more about the cultures and history of the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh and Lil̓wat7úl Nations, the traditional caretakers of the Sea to Sky.

Learning is an important part of reconciliation. 🧡

The leaves are changing, it is time to start thinking about winter adventures!

When you think of winter in Whistler, skiing and snowboarding probably come to mind first.
