Last week I had a potential client ask me what the difference would be between buying their family trip online vs. from me... the question stumped me a bit because my initial response seemed like a no-brainer... The difference between using my services vs. online is that I'M HUMAN and I CARE... But I quickly stopped myself and realized that I couldn't just say that to any potential client that doesn't know me. I want everyone that chooses to use my services to realize for themselves why they are glad they made that choice.
So instead, I'm on a mission to define MY value proposition and my elevator pitch. That way, I am never stumped again to answer the big “Why use a Travel agent” question and most importantly, when that now loyal client REFERS me to their friends and family and get asked why they shouldn’t just buy online, they can confidently tell them that it’s because “ANDREA CARES”.
