THE NEWEST EDITION! The gentle giants are cold hardy Toulouse geese. Larger than a Canadian goose and more docile they are quirky and calming to watch. Geese are primarily grass grazers and with the Spirit Caynon Paddock they are in a grass heaven with more than 10 varieties of grass including rye and oat grass.

Come for a kennel tour, stay for a night in one of our two rustic log cabins. Enjoy the beautiful views a aquick hike on one of our mini trails or check out the yukons very own mini Grand Cayon.

Watch these gentle giants graze over a cold beer or glass of wine.

Who doesn't like puppies! Soon these little cuties will be ready to meet you, get you puppy cuddles in while taking a relaxing stay at one of the rustic relaxing cabins or swing out for a kennel tour and a hike at our own "mini grand canyon"

This is the pin to locate us.
Drive towards Alaska on Alaska Hwy we are located approx 45 km out of Whitehorse. When you cross Takini River Bridge the Turn off to Klaune Wagon Trail is approx 7km. Turn on to Kluane wagon trail follow little yellow dog mushing signs. We are on the left hand side of the road. There is Braveheart Adventures Sign. If you hit yellow Trail crossing Sign you have gone to far. The road will dead end so just Turn around and look for Braveheart Adventures Sign.

Our cabin rentals offer beautiful views are close by to great hiking trails and ice fishing but some times it's about the journey as much as the destination. This was just one of many stunning views on the way out. Wild horses and sunsets how much better can you get

We are now open for cabin rentals through Air B&B and will be soon offering a few other fun things to do throughout the winter Snowshoeing, Aurora Viewing, kennel tours in partnership with Dog Song Rising . There is also wildlife viewing (we got it all out here wild horse lynx fix elk moose bear) and spirit canyon hikes!! Located 50 km from down town Whitehorse. All nine mushers of the YQ300 crossed the finish line in Whitehorse early this morning within only 7 hours of one another, making this year's 300 event an unusually tight race.

Aaron Peck of Elevation Sled Dogs in Grande Prairie, Alta, came in 4th at 4:06 AM with 9 dogs, while Deke Naaktegeboren was traveling closely behind, reaching Whitehorse only eight minutes later, in 5th place.

First time Quest racer, Connor McMahon of Feral Dog Racing, reached Whitehorse at 5:59 AM, his dog Mako leading the team across the finish line to place 6th. Sebastien Dos Santos Borges was just less than an hour behind, making it in at 6:55 AM, placing 7th, as the winds continued to gust 30-50 km an hour. He started and finished the race with 12 dogs.

Fellow mushers, including McMahon and Nathaniel Hamlyn, winner of the Y100, gathered with the crowd to cheer on seasoned musher and Quest racer, Jerry Joinson, who pulled across the finish at 8:12 AM with eight dogs, taking 8th place. Joinson, who's been racing since 1965, says this year's YQ300 just well may be his last race.

Paul Hamlyn of Braveheart Adventures pulled up behind Joinson only 15 minutes later, arriving at the finish line with 8 dogs and receiving the Red Lantern. Hamlyn's team is made up of a mix of veteran dogs and younger dogs.

Most importantly, there were many a wagging tail this morning and despite the last stretch on the trail being a difficult one due to the high winds, everyone's teams were looking in great shape.

Congratulations to all of this year's YQ300 mushers! What an amazing effort to stay the course and endure some more than challenging weather and trail conditions.

Hope you enjoy some rest today and see you later at the Finishing Awards tonight at 5 PM at the Gold Rush Inn. Meet the Mushers will take place just after from 6 - 9 PM. The event is open to the public with limited capacity. (Please note that COVID-19 regulations apply).

Time for some Rest and Relaxion before the awards ceremony Paul finished at 8:32 am after a tough windy and trailess run. There are a few sore muscles but everyone finished with wagging tails and is ready for some well earned massage rest and a all you can eat meat buffet. Yukon Quest 300

The Brave Heart Adventures dogs are on the move doing 9 miles per hour and middle of the pack with sill 12 dogs and running strong. Paul took his rest starting at 6:37 and took offjust past 1 all the dogs checked out after a good nap ripping and raring to go.
