If adventure had a home base...it would 100% be New Zealand 🇳🇿🔥Here's another peek into Agent Em's incredible travels!
You guys...this trip was absolutely AMAZING!! 10/10 recommend NZ, even with the long trek getting there and coming home. This was the type of trip where every day felt like a highlight reel with the places that we got to experience; glacier regions, rain forests, alpine passes, rugged coastlines, and volcanic landscapes all in one itinerary makes for something truly special!
On top of the beautiful scenery, there's also such a huge variety of activities to pick and choose from too! Pounamu pendant making in Franz Josef, spotting dolphins at sunrise in Kaikōura, ATVing across stunning farmland with Glenstrae Farms, chasing waterfalls and turquoise rivers. For our thrill-seekers, there’s no shortage of action on the north island either! Bungee jumping, jet boating, zorbing (another NZ-created activity) - you name it, they have it.
If you prefer something a little more slower-paced, you can soak in geothermal waters at one of the spas or take a walk around the lake in Rotorua, explore iconic filming locations at Hobbiton, or dive deeper in connecting with the Māori culture at Mitai Maori Village, where not only do you get to learn about their history and see a haka in real life (this made me so dang emotional), but you also get to enjoy a traditional hāngī-cooked meal (which I can assure you will probably be the best thing you eat in your entire life, holy molyyyyy)
