F.A.C.T.S! Real experience!

The primary cable ride over the Niagara River is the Whirlpool Aero Car, a historic aerial tramway that transports passengers across the Niagara Whirlpool.

👉Whirlpool Aero Car
Experience: Suspended on six interlocking steel cables, this antique cable car travels 3,500 feet (about 1 km) round-trip across the Niagara Gorge.
👉It offers a unique vantage point of the Class 6 whitewater rapids and the massive whirlpool where the river abruptly turns.

👉International Border: While both start and end points are on the Canadian shore, the car crosses the international border between Canada and the U.S. four times during the trip due to the river's curve (no passport required).
Capacity & Accessibility:

The car carries up to 35 standing passengers. Note that it is not wheelchair accessible, as there are 40 steps to descend to reach the boarding platform.
