Day 7 update. One final hunter left to fill a tag and the team was all in for the challenge. 19 baits to choose from, tens of thousands of photos to go through. We needed to find Joe just the right bear. He needed to have the size,and the frequency to make this work in our favour. Unfortunately, Joe must have had on a little too much backwoods 40 cologne as it was lady’s night only at his stand for three days straight. Joe snuck out for and early morning hunt today and in the last 40 minutes, this really nice boar came in for a visit. Joe had his heart set on a certain style of trophy and the boar didn’t meet the mark so it was a pass for Joe and an unpunched tag for the flight home. Joe spent the most time in the stands then the rest of the crew and passed on more bear than all the other hunters combined.
Congratulations with staying true to your hunting morals.

Thank you all for a most wonderful adventure in the bear woods this 2024 season. Can’t wait to do it all over again in 2025.

Day 6 update. John the third, aka Roberto, swings up for his third year in a row with us. After two days of heavy rains, Roberto decided to head out across the lake for a morning hunt. It didn’t take long for him to fill his tag on this long lean boar!

Day 3 update part two. First time hunting anything ever! Mr. Bobbie got up in the ladder stand and when a big big bear came in, the fever got him! This equaling a swing and a miss. Fire side coaching, and some next day range time, we convinced him to trade in his rifle, grab our camp slug gun,and get into the recurve blind just feet away from the bait. Last night at last light in walks an exception boar, Boom! Bobbie anchored his 385 # 20” trophy!
Congratulations Bobbie! You had the whole camp rooting for you on this one.
This is exactly why our team puts in the effort!

Day 3 update part one. First time bear hunter Dustin has been seeing multiple bear everywhere he goes. Last night he had a black bear that came in that got him jacked up just enough. After some text coaching from his guide, he let the bolt fly! Two hours of waiting, we recovered his trophy! He was still shaking so bad that notching his tag was extremely difficult.
