Starting September 1, 2026, the Northwest Territories will increase its hourly minimum wage from $16.95 to $17.20.

📈 This adjustment, the fourth in a series of annual increases, is calculated based on the Consumer Price Index and 2025 average hourly wages. The goal is to balance the rising cost of living for residents with the economic needs of local businesses.

📈Starting September 1, 2026, Nova Scotia introduces application fees for the NSNP. These fees support program integrity and administrative efficiency.

🛡️Fees apply only after your EOI is selected: $1,000 for worker streams and $2,000 for entrepreneur streams. Importantly, the Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP) remains fee-free.

You must pay within 7 days for worker streams or 90–180 days for entrepreneur streams upon selection. Failure to meet these deadlines will close your application.
