African Skies Tours Cultural Tours to Ghana, West Africa - next tour: Jan. 23 - Feb. 2, 2023, hosted by Jay Stoller and Note: music or dance experience is not a prerequisite.

Co-founded by Jay Stoller in Winnipeg, Canada and Christopher Ametefe in Accra, Ghana. African Skies tours runs an annual tour to Ghana, offering participants an opportunity to experience the true culture of Africa. Classes in drumming and dancing taught by members of Ghana's national dance ensemble, and attendance at performances and ceremonies and some of the beautiful sites in the country are all part of the tour package.

I am a djembe player based in Winnipeg and have been leading tours for the past 14 years. If anyone is interested in taking their West African drumming knowledge to the next level, I am organizing a 13-night drumming retreat in GHANA, in January 2026.
