🌱 OFFSET CLIMATE CERTIFIED 2024 🌱

For the second year running, Relish Ideas has measured our CO2 impacts and have offset 100% of our business emissions.

Since starting this journey, our climate action has supported the reduction of 40 mT of CO2 - equivalent to what 661 newly planted tree seedlings would absorb over ten years.

In partnership with Offset Alliance, we've gained valuable insights into our climate impact and are taking meaningful steps to reduce our emissions going forward.

Our team will be offline on April 23 and April 30 from 1 to 4pm as we take part in "Reconciliation: We're All In This Together," a training series facilitated by indigecation.

Our roots started on Treaty One territory. As an agency that’s committed to deepening our understanding of Canada's history and our work in Indigenous communities, including Indigenous perspectives, protocols and helping build a more inclusive workplace and community for everyone. These cultural teachings and protocols to our work will bridge our team with more valuable insights ultimately the tools that contribute to an environment where everyone feels valued and heard.

We'll respond to inquiries outside these hours. Thanks for your patience while we learn and grow together! 🌿

Relish Ideas is thrilled to welcome Tammy Sawatzky as a new manager to the communications and marketing team. Tammy comes to us with over 14 years of experience as a strategist, negotiator, public relations manager, along with a varied writing portfolio.

In her five years at the Province of Manitoba,Tammy advised Dr. Roussin on public relations during the pandemic, worked with the Health and Senior Care Minister, and acted as the Engagement Manager for the Indigenous Reconciliation and Northern Relations department among others. Her time with the University of Manitoba, Manitoba Chambers of Commerce, and with the Winnipeg Art Gallery rounds out her experience.

Giving Back to Our Community!

This week, our amazing team at Relish Ideas, along with our colleagues from IndigPro spent time volunteering Main Street Project Inc., supporting their vital work in the community. Together, we organized and packed clothing donations for Shelter and made an incredible 223 sandwiches to help those in need.

We’re proud to lend a hand and support the organizations making a difference. Huge thanks to the dedicated team at Main Street Project for the impactful work they do every day!
