JOB DESCRIPTION:

Efficiently delivering parcels, letters, equipment and dangerous goods.
Driving within the city of Winnipeg and surrounding area
Respecting deadlines and time limits
Working independently and managing your own time


REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Valid drivers license
Clean drivers abstract
Carrying and transporting heavy materials and dangerous goods
Experience in the courier, transportation, or delivery industry
Working under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Time management skills
Being able to make calculated decisions in limited time frames
Working indoors and outdoors
Strong organizational skills
Being punctual, personable, courteous and respectful
Exceptional customer service and communication skills
Owning a smartphone
Experience in customer service is an asset*
Transportation of Dangerous Goods certification required
Able to work flexible hours and overtime as needed

The vehicle will need to be provided by the sub-contractor. Proof of proper insurance required.

Starting wage: $17/hour

Hi everyone! We are currently seeking 1-3 full time drivers who would be able to start immediately delivering tires and rims. We will need the drivers to provide their own vehicles (preferably a truck or a cargo vehicle). $20/h, 8 hours a day until end of November. Please share and or contact us if you are interested. During these times of uncertainty we have seen a major shift within our industry. Due to COVID-19 and social distancing we are seeing an increase in residential deliveries.
